Tuzigoot National Monument, Arizona
Water has flowed under and through this landscape, feeding the growth of people and towns over the centuries. The Verde Valley is watered by snowmelt, summer monsoons, and springs that well up from the ancient sedimentary rocks. In the heart of the valley, a thousand years ago, people began to build a little hilltop pueblo that would grow into one of the largest villages in the area. Today, Tuzigoot National Monument preserves a 2- to 3-story pueblo ruin on the summit of a limestone and sandstone ridge just east of Clarkdale, Arizona, 120 feet above the Verde River floodplain. This classic design and vintage poster art by Anderson Design Group is perfect for home or office decor. It also serves as an excellent national park gift for the travel enthusiast in your life. As an original illustration, the design will look great as an unframed print, framed poster, note card, postcard, metal sign, canvas, or mini canvas.
